Tiny Ice Skaters on Spilled Iced Coffee Print

A toppled plastic iced-coffee cup has spilled across the surface, but in this miniature world the glossy puddle has become a full skating rink. Tiny figures glide around oversized ice cubes while coffee beans, a striped straw and the detached black lid frame the scene like enormous pieces of architecture.

The warm caramel palette gives this version a sleek cafe-inspired look rather than a traditional icy winter color scheme. Reflections of the skaters in the coffee create the illusion that the spill is both liquid and frozen at the same time.

For coffee lovers, baristas and ice-skating fans, the artwork offers two familiar obsessions in one surreal composition and works especially well in kitchens, coffee bars, cafes and modern eclectic interiors.
